The Colonial, Park Hill, TCU area is actually three distinct neighborhoods that all enjoy proximity to some iconic Fort Worth institutions. Colonial Country Club, Texas Christian University, the world class Fort Worth Zoo, Log Cabin Village, and easy access to the extensive Trinity River Trail system.
Colonial is considered the area immediately surrounding the home Country Club of the Colonial PGA tournament, and contains many prominent homes on large and estate lots.
Park Hill is a small enclave of homes built in the 1940's in Period Revival. The neighborhood actually sits above the Fort Worth Zoo, so it is not unusual to hear lions roar, or exotic birds call as you enjoy an outdoor barbecue.
The TCU neighborhood obviously takes its name from Texas Christian University, which located to Fort Worth in 1910.
